Speaker Information + Resources

Thank you for your interest in speaking at the Get Your Shit Together Summit. I’m so excited to team up with you to pull off an incredible event!

The Get Your Shit Together Summit is a 4-day event that will help quirky, distracted individuals who are struggling with their mental and digital chaos, distractions, and experimenting get their shit together and get back to having fun doing what they love.

On this page, you’ll find resources meant to make speaking as easy as possible and answer any questions you have. If you run into a question I didn’t answer, email me at hello@thatweirdnerdymom.com.

As a speaker, you’ll also get free access to the Side Quest Survival Kit!

Quick Values Check

I have some straightforward beliefs that, quite frankly, I don’t believe should be up for debate or should be controversial, but here we are:

  1. THE BIG ONE: If you currently support the evil, fascist, hateful MAGA regime, please leave. Your hate is not welcome here.
  2. I believe that we are all unique, have unique interests and hobbies and obsessions, and that we can all happily coexist with those different interests.
  3. I am weird and nerdy, like to swear (and sometimes don’t realize I’m doing it), and I have tattoos and will continue to get more tattoos.
  4. I support a person’s right to bodily autonomy.
  5. I support the LGBTQ+ and trans communities and believe that gender isn’t black and white – there are many shades and flavors.
  6. I support black lives, people of color, and the absolute need for anti-racist change in this country and the world.
  7. I believe that no one is “illegal” or an “alien” – we are all human.
  8. I believe everyone has a right to their own beliefs – whether you call it God, Allah, Goddess, or the Flying Spaghetti Monster – there is no “right” answer and none of us have the right to force or impose or legislate one religion or belief onto anyone else.
  9. I do what I can to promote social change and a healthy planet.
  10. I am imperfect, and that is ok.

How it will work

The Get Your Shit Together Summit will run from June 1 to 4, 2026. Presentations will include 15-20 minutes of content (with up to a 2-minute freebie pitch). You’re welcome to do a slide presentation or just a talking head video, whichever you prefer. I will be creating transcripts for each presentation, and I encourage you to share your slides (if using them – slides aren’t required!) with attendees and/or feel free to create a worksheet to go along with your presentation. You can find templates for a slide deck here and for a worksheet here.

Along with the presentations, there will be a Facebook group for attendees to have fun in, hold each other accountable, and ask questions. There will be threads for attendees to ask questions on your specific presentation. If attendees have good questions while your presentation is going on, you’re welcome to add a video or go live for a bit of an encore to answer those questions, connect with the attendees, and provide even more value.

Leading up to the summit, we’ll have two weeks of promotion. You’ll be provided with email swipe copy, social media swipe copy, and social media graphics to make it all easy! I’ll even have a suggested posting/sending schedule for you to make promo easy to outsource to a VA.

During the promotion phase, as the summit is running, and for a week after the summit is complete, we’ll also be promoting the Side Quest Survival Kit. This includes an all-access pass for the replays, access to coworking and networking sessions each evening the week of the summit, and products provided by presenters and sponsors. This will provide immense value to our attendees, while making the work of promoting and creating a presentation worthwhile by allowing you to bring in affiliate commissions and grow your email list. Yay!

Feedback from 2025 Speakers

I loved how streamlined the whole thing was. I appreciated that you reached out with a topic idea already in mind, this made it super easy for me to create a focused presentation.

I added 40 new leads to my email list that are now in one of my bigger sales funnels!

I really enjoyed how breezy of speaking opportunity this was — the short training, not having to show up at a specific time to teach live. It was all very easy and low demand, which is great for my brain. Of course, I also very much enjoyed getting to teach a wider audience and expand my own audience as a result. Very fun collab opportunity!

I had several dozen new subscribers join my list, which I was very happy about.

You made everything so danm easy!! That google file with everything we needed in one place. Reminder emails. Kindness and flexibility when we were behind schedule 😊

What I'll ask of you

So what kind of work does all this require of you?

1. Basic Information

The first thing I’ll need is some basic information from you so I can finish up our registration page and Speakers page.

Once you give me the thumbs up that you’re in, I’ll send you a link where you can upload all this information easily.

2. Presentation

Next up is your presentation! This is a 15-20 minute pre-recorded presentation that is meant to be more friendly and casual than perfect and structured. We want our attendees to learn something great, while having fun in the process.

Please structure your content in a way that allows attendees to walk away feeling like they’ve really learned something, rather than a webinar format where they feel like they’re missing something that they need to buy from you asap.

With that being said, you have your choice of the following presentation formats:

  • Slides
  • No slides (just your fantastic face)
  • A mixture of the two
  • Interview-style

If you’d like to go with the interview-style presentation, schedule a time with me to do that here. We’ll work together to come up with questions.

No matter what format you choose, you are free to use your presentation however you’d like in the future.

Your presentation should include great, actionable content. Here’s the suggested format:

  • A quick introduction
  • An overview of your topic
  • Where people go wrong with your topic and tend to overcomplicate it
  • Teaching section
  • Specific action steps (with the goal of simplifying their existing process)
  • Up to a 2-minute freebie pitch
  • Include questions for attendees to answer in the chat box throughout to boost engagement

Presentations are due by May 11, 2026. Find a PDF download with all this information here.

3. All-Access Pass Contribution

The Side Quest Survival Kit  will be a huge addition to the presentations we’re running. To make it even more valuable and to give you an additional way to grow your email list, you’re encouraged to provide one resource to add. This includes things like:

  • Templates
  • Workbooks
  • Courses (big or small)
  • 1-month memberships
  • eBooks

Note: I do not recommend contributing any 1:1 offers.

It’s totally up to you to decide whether you’d like to create something new or provide something you already have. While this isn’t required, it’s highly encouraged that you participate.

Anyone who does contribute a premium resource will get a 50% affiliate commission on sales, rather than 40%. It’s also an opportunity to collect hundreds of extra email addresses as attendees claim your offer.

We cannot accept freebies or percentage-off offers.

Information for these resources is due on May 11, 2026. You’ll receive a questionnaire to fill out closer to that time to make passing the information to me nice and simple.

Attendees will be able to start claiming your bonus right when registration opens on May 13, 2026.

4. Promotion

The power of an online summit comes from a group of experts coming together for a single cause. The joint promotion that happens because of that is a huge benefit to everyone involved.

Because of that, everyone is encouraged to share on social media and to email their lists during the promotion period, starting on May 18, 2026.

You’ll want to share using your affiliate link so you can get in on the 40% commission that will come from any Side Quest Survival Kit sales (50% if you’ve contributed a premium bonus).

You’ll find swipe copy and graphics in the Resource Vault below.

5. Event Participation

And last comes participation during the week of the event. Since we’ll already have done the work of creating the presentations and extra resources, we’ll be able to sit back and relax for the most part!

All I ask is that you consider participating in the coworking and/or networking sessions occurring in the evening on each presentation day.

Affiliate Details

While summits are great for overall visibility and making new connections, a little extra income never hurts either, right?

That’s why I’ve set up an affiliate program for the Side Quest Survival Kit where you’ll receive a commission from all sales from traffic you refer to the event. Payouts will be made by June 25, 2025.

The commission structure is as follows:

  • 40% for all speakers
  • 50% for all speakers who include a premium bonus

The pricing structure will be:

  • $47 for 30 minutes after initial registration
  • $75 from May 13, 2026 to June 1, 2026
  • $97 from June 1, 2026 to June 11, 2026

To make it as easy as possible for you to generate extra income, the Resource Vault includes things like email swipe copy, social media copy, and social share graphics. However, you’re more than welcome to write your own copy and even run your own Facebook ads.

Just remember to use your affiliate link, which you can create or look up here.

As with all affiliate promotions, be sure to disclose that you’re an affiliate when sharing with your audience.

Or login to your existing account here
