Rather than focusing on rigid productivity systems or forcing clarity too early, this workshop introduces a different approach: using small experiments and flexible structures to reduce cognitive overload and create forward movement inside complex creative projects.

Christina Larocco is a developmental editor and book coach who works with research-driven nonfiction writers navigating complex material—and the equally complex realities of attention, energy, and overwhelm.
As editor-in-chief of the Pennsylvania Magazine of History and Biography, she spent more than a decade working with scholars, professionals, and subject-matter experts. Her work focuses on helping writers move from accumulation to clarity: defining scope, making structural decisions, and shaping manuscripts that can sustain both depth and momentum.
She specializes in helping writers who think deeply, get pulled in many directions, and occasionally find themselves stuck in the gap between what they know and what they can actually produce. Her approach emphasizes small, structured experiments that make it easier to re-enter the work—no forcing yourself to “just do it” required.
She is the author of two traditionally published books and is currently working on a third.
